Clinic Introduction
The dental hygiene clinic on the Portland campus serves the public, acting as both a community and teaching resource. Our students gain hands-on work experience in our 20-seat clinic, while the public enjoys a variety of dental hygiene services at a greatly reduced cost.
We accept cash, check, MasterCard or Visa for payment. We are a participating MaineCare insurance only provider. For patients with other types of insurance, our dental hygiene staff will assist you in submitting a claim by providing a coded and detailed list of treatments that have been provided.
We operate our clinic and accept patients by appointment during the school year. There are no income restrictions and we welcome patients of all ages. Because we are a non-profit teaching clinic, appointments may take longer than a typical visit.
