Clinic Introduction

Niloofar Mofakhami, DDSknown to her patients as Dr. Niloois proud to serve the community in which she grew up. She attended Mosby Woods Elementary School, Luther Jackson Middle School, and Oakton High School. After graduating as valedictorian from OHS, Dr. Niloo attended the University of Virginia, where she studied biology and religious studies. She graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry and completed her 2-year postdoctoral training (residency) in pediatrics at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, DC. Her goal of becoming a dentist since the age of 10 was finally achieved! Prior to opening her own practice in 2005, Dr. Niloo practiced pediatric dentistry in McLean and Reston. Dr. Niloo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, which means she is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. She is fluent in English, Farsi, and French. Dr. Niloo lives in Oakton with her husband, Matthew, and her sons, Arya and Kasra. Her interests include traveling, watching movies, studying different cultures and languages, community service, and watching her boys play baseball through Vienna Little League (of which she is also a proud sponsor).
