Clinic Introduction

Dr. Connie Killian, known to her patient family as "Dr. Connie", has been in private practice of pediatric dentistry for over 29 years. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency in General Dentistry at Danbury hospital, an affiliate of Yale University. She then returned to Philadelphia to earn her specialty certification at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and Temple University. Dr. Connie is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the International Association of Dental Traumatology and the Academy of Sports Dentistry. She is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and was recently nominated to the American College of Dentists. Dr. Connie is currently a member of the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and she is an attending pediatric dentist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, teaching both dental students and dentists pursuing specialization in pediatric dentistry. She is also on staff at Doylestown Hospital. Dr. Connie has served as a Trustee of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and an examiner for the Commission of Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. She has taught a national course, the Comprehensive Review of Pediatric Dentistry, which is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. For this program, Dr. Connie developed and presented a series of lectures on Dental Trauma, Special Needs Patients, Behavior Management, and Hospital Dentistry. Dr. Connie is a frequent contributor to the dental literature and has had articles published in a variety of journals.
