Dr. Blackburn has been proudly serving the New Buffalo, Harbor Country area since 1984. “Dr. Jay ”, as he is known to most is a 1979 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Jay received his masters in Education from Northwestern University and was a high school teacher. For many years Dr. Jay enjoyed a vacation home in the area and decided since he loved it so much here, this is where he wanted to put down roots and open his solo dental practice. It has been so fulfilling to him to be able to not just provide dental services to the area, but truly be part of the community and is joined by his wife, Erika, and two sons Sam and Landon. Dr. Jay is proud to say he has kept up with all the latest advances and can provide a high standard of care to his patients. Dr. Blackburn and his staff, who have been with him for many years are devoted to making your dental appointments pleasant and an enjoyable experience.
